Layering – One Technique In Making A Mixed Media Art

Mixed media art is performed by mixing a wide array of different elements in order to create a cohesive piece. One of the techniques employed in doing this piece of art is layering. You must know that creating layers is an in-depth process because it really needs several ideas and time to build them up. Apart from the, there are no shortcuts involved. For example, if you wish to create texture, you have to put a thick coat in the base for engraving but if you want to create a background having text and collage, you must place the different layers one after the other.
